Bedbugs
An insect to eradicate from your home as quickly as possible!
Bedbugs are biting and blood-sucking insects that thrive in temperate climates throughout the world. They are especially found in large conurbations, such as Geneva, where there is more frequent movement of people, which facilitates the spread of the epidemic.
Bedbugs are generally found in the nooks and crannies of homes, but mainly in bedrooms, near their food source: your blood!
Bed frames and headboards, bed bases, mattress seams, skirting boards and wooden floors are their favourite places. However, they can also be found in electrical sockets, switches, behind picture frames, chests of drawers, cupboards, etc.
There are a number of signs that indicate the presence of bedbugs:
- Small red or brown stains which are believed to be blood or excrement of the insect.
- The person in contact with the insect may have red patches or pimples on the body.
- Visible bites on the skin.
